BRONTE KERR​

Bronte has more than a decade of experience in healthcare & clinical trials communications and marketing, spanning a range of therapeutic areas and services, including oncology, vaccines, aged care, and mobile home doctor services. ​

She joins us from GenesisCare, an integrated oncology provider, where she managed the marketing & communications for the group function, as well as managing the re-branding and marketing of the GenesisCare CRO in the US. ​

LISA ANDERSON​

Lisa is an accomplished Enrolled Nurse with a strong background in clinical research spanning over 6 years. Her journey in the field commenced as a dedicated Study Coordinator, where she played a pivotal role in managing and executing over 150 trials during her tenure of 5 years.​

In her current role, Lisa leads the proficient team at our Wollongong clinic.​

Ivana Solaja​

Ivana has over 18 years experience in clinical research. During this time, she worked in various roles (CTA, CRA, Site Manager, Research Officer, Investigator) and therapeutic areas (oncology, cardiovascular, endocrinology, immunology, CNS, neuroscience; phase I-IV) in hospitals, CROs and pharmaceutical companies. She obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons I) from UNSW, Master of Business Administration from UTS, and is currently in her fourth year of PhD in Psychiatry at UNSW.

When not working, Ivana loves spending time outdoors with family and friends, camping, swimming and photography.​

In her current role, Ivana manages all clinical trial activities at our Northern Beaches clinic.​

FLORIAN PIETZCH​

Florian is a strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Throughout his career, Florian has successfully assumed key leadership roles, guiding teams and projects to generate business growth and enhanced operational efficiencies.  Prior to joining Walski, Florian served as the Head of IT and led the data management function for a CRO and global site network.​

Nick Kwok

Nick has 10 years’ experience in finance roles within the healthcare services sector, most recently as a Finance Business Partner across the ACT/NSW operations of Lumus Imaging, the third largest radiology operator in Australia. Nick has extensive experience across the day-to-day finance function, business planning and budgeting & forecasts. In his current role, Nick manages the finance function within Walski Clinical Research.

Dr Anthony McGirr

Dr McGirr was the original Principal Investigator at the Northern Beaches clinic at the time of its founding. After overseeing over thirty clinical trials he has been promoted to the role of Medical Director. In this role he works across both Sutherland and Northern Beaches sites, overseeing the clinical operations and supporting the physician and nursing teams. Dr McGirr is an Anaesthetist with over 30 years’ medical experience.

Jeff Wall

Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry having led the Clinical Operations for Covance and Pharmaceutical Solutions across Australia and New Zealand in addition to a previous role as Head of Research Operations for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Most recently, prior to founding Walski Clinical Research, Jeff founded and led a Site Management Organisation, expanding to four clinical across ACT, NSW & QLD. Jeff brings a wealth of experience across Pharmaceutical Companies, Contract Research Organizations, Hospitals and Site Networks and is ideally placed to oversee the operations of the clinic and ensure delivery of the clinical trials being conducted.

Dr Mariah Melek

Dr Melek has completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She has experience in a number of medical specialties including medical, surgical and critical care. She has a passion for medical research and works at our Sutherland Shire Clinical Research site as a Sub-Investigator.

Mary Magdy

Dr Magdy has completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and has worked in a range of medical specialties including Medical and Surgical subspecialities, Critical Care and Paediatrics. She has previously worked as a Sub-Investigator and currently as a Principal Investigator within our Sutherland Shire Clinical Research site. Dr Magdy has a keen interest in clinical research and is passionate about its development.

Dr Helen Yoo

Dr Yoo completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Doctor of Medicine at University of New South Wales. Since then she has been working across several Sydney Hospitals as a medical officer and also as a General Practitioner in private practice. Dr Yoo also works part-time at Northern Beaches Clinical Research as a Sub-investigator.

Dr Krishna Srilakshmanan

Dr Srilakshmanan studied Medicine at the University of Newcastle and, before joining us, worked as a Medical Officer across various sites in the Northern Sydney Local Health District. He currently works full-time at Northern Beaches Clinical Research as both a Principal Investigator and a Sub-Investigator.

Dr Divyansh Joshi

Dr Joshi completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in Melbourne. He then worked as a Medical officer at Nepean and Blacktown Hospitals, as well as completing a placement in a teaching hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. He works part-time at Northern Beaches Clinical Research as both a Principal Investigator and a Sub-Investigator.

Alessandra Alessi

Alessandra joined Walski Clinical Research as a Study Coordinator at our Northern Beaches clinic, leading the delivery of critical clinical trials across the business, and progressed to a Team Leader role before being promoted to her current role as Site Director for our Sutherland Shire clinic. Alessandra demonstrates strong leadership skills, taking the lead with staff training and quality initiatives.

Trina Vincent

Trina has 25 years’ experience in clinical trials across both pharmaceutical and academic clinical trials and is a registered nurse. In her most recent previous role, Trina managed a clinical research unit leading study start-up, contract negotiations, ethics submissions and clinical trial coordination across Phase II - IV, with a focus on HIV, sexual health, vaccines, dermatology and respiratory medicine. In her current role, Trina manages all of the clinical trial activities at our Northern Beaches clinic.

Jordan Ternovy

Jordan has over 6 years’ experience in the clinical trials industry across Novo Nordisk and IQVIA. In his most recent role as a CRA, Jordan was responsible for managing and contributing to the quality of clinical trial delivery. Jordan led initiatives regarding the conduct of trials, including recruitment and retention, CAPA management, issue resolution and vendor management. Jordan managed an array of clinical trials sites over a variety of therapeutic areas from study start up and initiation to study close out. In his current role, Jordan manages all aspects of the quality of trial delivery across Walski and the training needs of staff.

Charlotte Bull

Charlotte joined Walski Clinical Research as a recruiter and has gone on to be instrumental in leading the recruitment function as the business has grown to multiple clinics. In her current role, Charlotte manages the recruitment function, including social media.

Kris Barooshian

Kris is an experienced clinical research professional with a focus on project management and strategic pipeline development across site, CRO, and biotech. With a career spanning over 23 years, Kris has amassed global expertise that has enabled her to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex clinical trials across various therapeutic areas, with particular focus in early phase oncology/haematology, including cell and gene therapy, radiopharmaceuticals, and Theranostics. Throughout her career, Kris has held leadership positions in both the US and Australia, where she has been responsible for heading up project leadership teams and built bespoke clinical delivery units to optimize delivery in the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Walski, Kris was Senior Vice President for a global research organization heading up a full service CRO and global site network.

Rhys Wisniewski

Rhys founded Walski Clinical Research with Jeff Wall, having most recently managed the successful patient recruitment function within a Site Management Organisation. Rhys has a demonstrated market leading recruitment skills with 80% of trials closing as the top recruiter, including a large-scale vaccine trial recruiting 900 participants across two clinics in 6 weeks. Rhys brings a critical skillset to the Walski Clinical Research team.
